are going to pedal the Atlantic Ocean E-W from Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro on board custom built pedal boat Vaquita and dedicate the voyage to addressing mass extinction caused by humans. When successful, they will become the first team of Mother and Son to pedal across any ocean and the first Team of Two to cross the South Atlantic under human power
The departure is scheduled for the beginning of December 2015 (weather permitting)
